The Chinese Stars-Heaven on Speed Dial

The Chinese Stars are not an easy band to listen to. Their blend of post rock, dance and electronic art can sometimes sound similar to nails on a chalkboard, but its good stuff for people that can enjoy that type of thing. They bring a party that sounds laced in the most hallucangetic of drugs; an Alice in Wonderland that not even the highest person can dream of.

The vocals are what can make or break The Chinese Stars for listeners. While they fit in with the out of the box thinking style of the music, its not a one size fits all voice. Its high pitched and not a great voice, per se, but it works, adding to the eccentricity that already exists among these four band members. Heaven on Speed Dial is not for the weak at heart, but it sure can rave.
