Echo Screen-Goodbye Old Life
Self Released
August 4, 2009

This is much different than I remember them sounding, and I think that the difference is a positive one. Gone is the pop punk of Euphoria, replaced with old singer/songwriter/folk music mixed with the indie rock of today ("I Amsterdam" would fit right in at a friendly western folk/country bar). They are somber, writing strong songs that almost need to come with their own tissue. The high pitched shining voice of Shaune Scutellaro is inviting, as is the music playing behind him.

This is a band breathing with new lungs and beating from a different heart than before. This transplant should work heavily in their favor, as they sound so much better than I could have ever imagined. Hopefully they stick with this sound and catch a break or two so they can catch on.
