Fake Problems-How Far Our Bodies Go
Sabot
April 24, 2007

Fake Problems do the country folk punk style justice, while adding their own special touch to give them a sense of uniqueness. The vocals of Chris Farren, a sort of raspy singing yell, gives the band a hard edge, even when the music is jazzing or waltzing along. The musical dynamics are great, full of build up creshendos that are slightly predictable, but just enough to get the listeners excited about whats to come.

This is an album full of great lyrics that are a joy to sing along to. While some bands playing this style make (some to most of) their songs tearjerkingly sad, Fake Problems focus on the fun. They are the smile planted on faces while people are happily singing along.
