No Use For a Name have come out and released their best album since Leche Con Carne. Its not as in your face or aggressive, which is to be expected 13 years later, but the speed is there and the songs are all more than memorable. Tony Sly's voice, while matured, sounds as good as ever; much more melodic than previous albums. He's also come up with some great sing along hooks that will have people running for the lyric book.
The music is similar to the songs that have made No Use For A Name a memorable band that has had a long and fulfilling career. They are fast punk melodic punk songs with a fierce energy and a huge playback factor. The drumming of Rory Koff, a drummer I will always appreciate, is splendid on here.
No Use For A Name switch things up a little bit with some acoustic songs ("Sleeping Between Trucks," "Kill the Rich"), they open "Night of the Living Living" with some electronica, and "Ontario" is a nice piano ballad, which all combine to add a little bit of depth to the album, breaking things up nicely and bringing some different sounds to an already great album to listen to.
