Two Fisted Law-Late Nights and Bar Fights
Altercation
February 7, 2012

I was impressed with these guys the first time I laid ears on them live. I bought their debut CD and listened to it a few times with moderate enjoyment. Fast-forward a few months and Late Nights and Bar Fights arrives in my mailbox. I was blown away from first listen, as this is a huge improvement over an already solid sound that they had.

From the start, the hooks and melodies are what draws me in. Jym Parrella sings with a melodic scowl that reminds me of Reach the Sky mixed with a little bit of Danzing era Misfits. The music has an uplifting feel to it, reminding me somewhat of the Bouncing Souls. The songs are fun to listen to, great fist pumping beer raising songs that were written to be sung along to. Everything is tight and well put together. Plus, they cover “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash.
