The Morning Light-The Sounds of Love
Fearless
March 4, 2008

For reasons I can't quite put my finger on, The Morning Light remind me of the diner soda pop stylings of the late 50s early 60s, mixed with the sugary pop punk that dominates today. I can picture them being played on a jukebox back in the day or lightly gracing the car stereos parked along Make Out Point. They put a vintage take on the stylings of today.

I should note that those stylings are subtle and the main ideas of their sound are based around the pop bands of today. The Morning Light are as safe as a bubble wrapped child, even if this music would have caused uproars with parents back then.
