Fast, killer hardcore that doesn't quit for even a second, No Friends is a band that I loved at first listen. Featuring members of New Mexican Disaster Squad and Municipal Waste, No Friends feature a throwback style, sort of. While I'm reminded of late 80s era New York straight edge, both the heavy and the melodic, I'm also reminded of Strike Anywhere and the Descendents, especially in the vocal department. This combination makes for a great listening experience. Though this self titled debut is over almost as soon as it begins, its the perfect length. No Friends is the future. Be warned.
