PlayRadioPlay!-The Frequency
Stolen Transmission
April 24, 2007

I know that this album is full of sugar and cheese, sounding like a 17 year old wrote it in his room (this is the brainchild of 17 year old ???), but there's something about these mindless electronic pop songs that I really enjoy listening to. This is similar to Hello Goodbye, but with a higher level of enjoyment. There is an element of fun to each of these five songs (his cover of The Killers' "Mr. Brightside" is painful and unnecessary, especially seeing the song is relatively new) that I'm not ashamed to admit listening to, with "Confines of Gravity" being my favorite.

I can definitely see PlayRadioPlay! get absolutely slammed by other critics while the young kids eat this up like a free box of Lucky Charms. I guess this could be classified as a guilty pleasure, though I have too much fun listening to this to feel really guilty.
