Red I Flight-The Years
Victory
March 18, 2008
Red I Flight now how to write a breakdown, follow it with a breakdown and even bridge with a breakdown. They are pretty damn heavy, full of enough mosh parts to break or bloody at least five people a night, which is enough to get fans of the constant breakdowns excited. While I enjoy their songs and breakdown, Red I Flight follow the book a little too closely to really stand out from the pack. The guitar work is steady, but not anything that hasn't been heard before. The vocals are standard, even though I am a huge fan of the talking over music parts; easily my favorite part of the album. This is an album that has some moments from a band that has a lot of potential. Not every band needs to do something different, and Red I Flight prove that you can follow the pack and still sound decent.
