ROMANS burn through 14 songs in about 22 minutes (give or take), and they don't let up the intensity at all. The first two songs seem done before you've even hit the play button, but you're already floored and waiting for the heavy pummelling to continue.
A lot of the songs bleed into each other, which makes for an interesting listen, and quite a surprise when you look at the track number. ROMANS use that to their advantage of not giving the listener a single moment to breathe. They play a heavy hardcore style that isn't quite metal but isn't quite hardcore, and its not quite doom. They remind me a little bit of Cursed, but with some extra experimentation. The fact that they can fly through all of these songs, seemingly without taking a breath, and are able to keep up the intensity level and quality of songwriting, make ROMANS a winner in my book.
