Fans of the now defunct avant garde punk indie act Black Eyes have reason to get excited, as Silver Daggers are the second coming. Their sound is so similar, even down to the high pitched voices, that I had to check to see if they shared any members (they didn't).

The music is so intresting, led by saxaphone and insane drum beats. It sounds as if Silver Daggers have their own percussion section, especially cowbell, and they use it (them) at the most opportune times. The song structures are unique, focusing on the song as a whole instead of equal parts (i.e. verse, chorus, verse, etc.). The vocals sound similar to a little kid, which works so damn well with the music that its uncanny.

Due to everything about this band being as out of the box as possible, I can see how people may not find Silver Daggers enjoyable. This is not a band that is for everyone, but they are quite a treat for those who can tolerate this sound.
