Amazon Renews 'Transparent' For Season 4

While Amazon‘s film side is quickly drawing up an impressive roster (“The Neon Demon,” “Cafe Society,” “Paterson,” “Manchester By The Sea“) on the TV side, it’s basically “Transparent“…and then everything else (“Bosch,” “The Man In The High Castle,” “Red Oaks“). The Emmy winning series has been the breakout hit for the streaming service, and it’s not a surprise they want to keep the series going far into the future.

With the third season coming sometime this year, Amazon has wasted little time in renewing “Transparent” for a fourth outing. Jeffrey Tambor, Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, and Jay Duplass are all slated to return for Jill Soloway‘s series, and the director/creator couldn’t be more excited.

“We’re having the time of our lives sharing season two for the awards season hoopla, and editing and finishing up season three for a fall release. This news of an order for season four is so so sweet. The Pfeffermans have many more stories to tell and we can’t wait to keep making them,” she stated.

So, definitely some big news for “Transparent,” which won’t be going away anytime soon. [Deadline]
