Anne Hathaway, Keanu Reeves, And Daniel Radcliffe Lead All-Star Cast For Shane Carruth’s 'The Modern Ocean'

Wow. There’s simply no other word to describe the massive, star-studded cast that is boarding Shane Carruth‘s “The Modern Ocean.” Back in September, the director had signed with power agency WME, and the word was he was gearing up the project with a Hollywood sized budget. It appears that every actor around has broken down the door of the “Primer” and “Upstream Color” filmmaker to be part of what he does next.

Anne Hathaway, Keanu Reeves, Daniel Radcliffe, Chloë Grace Moretz, Tom Holland, Asa Butterfield, Abraham Attah (“Beasts Of No Nation“), and Jeff Goldblum have joined “The Modern Ocean,” which will detail the competition for valuable shipping routes, the search for the hidden cache of priceless material and the powerful need for vengeance that will converge in a spectacular battle on the rolling decks of behemoth cargo ships. This epic tale will go from the ancient trading houses of Algeria to the darkest depths of the ocean floor, and into a secretive world filled with mysterious technologies and bitter rivalries. Hell, yes.

FilmNation is taking the project to the American Film Market which kicks off tomorrow and damn, this sounds great.
