Arnold Schwarzenegger Says He Might Be Back For Shane Black's 'Predator'

PredatorWhat is the value of Arnold Schwarzenegger to his old franchises once they get a new coat of paint? Granted, "Terminator Genisys" had problems beyond his starring role, but his return as T-800 arguably only made trying to reboot that property even more complicated. And once the film flopped, Paramount dropped their plans to make any further sequels. So one wonders if Shane Black‘s upcoming "Predator" sequel actually needs Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer to return. But it seems the character is in the script and Arnie will soon be meeting with the director about the project.

"I haven’t talked with [Shane Black] yet but I’m going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon. Just as soon as I’m finished with [Arnold’s Sports Festival] and ‘The Apprentice’ and all this stuff. But I will get together with him. If there is any news, we’ll of course let you know right away. There’s also a meeting coming up soon about ‘Conan,’ about the project moving forward," the actor told The Arnold Fans

In case you’re wondering, Arnie has been tapped as the new host for "Celebrity Apprentice," replacing Donald Trump, while the ‘Conan’ project is the long brewing "The Legend Of Conan," which is said to be in the vein of "Unforgiven."
