BASEBALL PREVIEW 2008

2007 proved that, while I may not be the best at predicting standings, I can predict a World Series winner. For the first time since I've done these predictions, 2008 doesn't have a whole lot of drama to offer. There is the looming steroid scandal, which I'm sure will get worse before it gets better, but people are starting to get sick of that. Our culture, unfortunately, leads us to get decensatized pretty quickly, which, added to our fast food instant lifestyle, leads us to get bored with things even quicker. I would love to see the Cubs win their first World Series in 100 years, but I don't see that happening.
