TOP FIVE ALBUMS OF 2007

5. Lifetime: This band is back and better than ever. They have written one of their best albums, a band that has gotten better at their intstruments and vocals, shutting up all of the naysayers. (Decaydance)

4. Defiance, Ohio-The Fear, The Fear, The Fear : This is a folk punk band that writes incredibly happy songs, ultimately putting me in a good mood. I need to listen to this album more, if for no other reason than the sake of my sanity. (No Idea)

It should be noted that the next three albums could be in any order. This is the way I feel right now, but I do consider these three wonderfull albums interchangable.

3. Gaslight Anthem-Sink or Swim: I listen to this album religiously. Its full of great, heartfelt songs with honest lyrics that are fun to sing along to. Its scary that this is only their debut.(XOXO)

2. Against Me!-New Wave: I had full confidence that Against Me! would write a killer album even though they were on a major label, and they didn't disappoint. It took a couple listens to really get into, but they have written some killer songs on here. I just hope they get their due, paving the way for better bands to hit the radio. (Sire)

1. Two Cow Garage-Three : I saw these guys live twice in the matter of a three days, and I knew that I had to own the album. I could consider this to be my smartest purchase of 2007, with "No Shame" being the sound track of my year. I would listen to that song over and over and over, and there are plenty of other songs worthy of constant repeat. (Suburban Home)
