Bayhem Is Unleashed In First Trailer For 'Transformers: The Last Knight'

It all seemed so quaint back in 2007 when the first “Transformers,” a semi-passable, merchandise-driven blockbuster directed with explosive enthusiasm by Michael Bay, was released. Ten years later, who would’ve thought that not only would this become a massive franchise, but now a goddamn movie universe, with Bay —despite one detour to make “Pain & Gain“— emerging as the shepherd of all things Autobots and Decepticons. Mark Wahlberg is back to save the world again in “Transformers: The Last Knight,” a story that will apparently feature time travel of some kind, as if this overstuffed series needed any more bells and whistles (speaking of which, Bay shot this in IMAX 3D, so be ready for your eyeballs to burst). As the for the cast, it sees Josh Duhamel return to the series (woo!), while Anthony Hopkins, Jerrod Carmichael, Laura Haddock and Isabela Moner will each appear.

“Transformers: The Last Knight” opens on June 23, 2017.
