Ben Affleck's Batman Movie Has An Obvious Name, Zack Snyder Teases Deathstroke In 'Justice League'

The current superhero movie landscape tends to call for things to stay under wraps as long as possible, while everyone involved drops clues and teases until a film is released. And while the folks at DC Films have tended to be more forthcoming than their rivals at Marvel, they also have a lot more ground to cover in terms of earning goodwill from the fanbase. But sometimes, the “news” that gets “revealed” is sort of super obvious but nonetheless, here I am typing about it.

Ben Affleck has revealed the name of his Batman movie, and as you probably guessed, it has the word Batman in it.

“The movie I think is going to be called ‘The Batman.’ At least that’s what we’re going with right now,” he told Associated Press during press rounds for the upcoming “The Accountant.” “I might change it… That’s about all I got right now. We’re working on the script, the script is going well, I’m really excited about it.”

With that out of the way, in slightly more interesting news, Zack Snyder tweeted a clue filled image (Collider breaks it all down in full detail) that features Deathstroke in what looks like storyboards from “Justice League,” and a bit more weirdly, the following Charles Bukowski quote seemingly scratched into the desk the director is working on:

“My dear, Find what you love and let it kill you. Let it drain you of your all. Let it cling onto your back and weigh you down into eventual nothingness. Let it kill you and let it devour your remains. For all things will kill you, both slowly and fastly, but it’s much better to be killed by a lover. ~ Falsely yours” – Charles Bukowski

Well, of any quote for Snyder to find inspiration from by Bukowski, that’s probably the Snyder-iest.

“Justice League” opens on November 17, 2017.
