First Trailer For Netflix's ‘Friends From College’ Starring Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders & More

It has gotten to the point where it seems like all the most exciting series are debuting on streaming services. While you can find the occasional diamond in the rough on networks and cable, Netflix, Amazon, and recently Hulu are where it’s at for new original TV content. Now, you can add “Friends from College” to the list of new, interesting shows soon to be available streaming online.

In the first trailer for the upcoming Netflix comedy series, viewers are introduced to a group of 30-something adults — played by Keegan-Michael KeyCobie Smulders, Fred Savage, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, and Jae Suh Park — as they deal with old friendships, romances, and the reality of approaching their forties. Here’s the official synopsis:

A group of friends from Harvard played by Keegan-Michael Key (Ethan), Cobie Smulders (Lisa), Annie Parisse (Sam), Nat Faxon (Nick), Fred Savage (Max) and Jae Suh Park (Marianne) are facing down their forties. With interwoven and oftentimes complicated relationships with one another, Friends from College is a comedic exploration of old friendships, former romantic entanglements and balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past.

“Friends with College” is the brainchild of executive producer Nick Stoller, best known for the “Neighbors” films, who directs all 8 episodes. The series arrives on July 14th.
