Check Out The Gorgeous Opening Credits For 'The Neon Demon,' Plus Alternate Poster, Podcast Talk, And More

Your chance to see Nicolas Winding Refn‘s “The Neon Demon” on the big screen — where it really deserves to be seen — is probably dwindling, as the movie flopped pretty hard when it opened last weekend. And even though I can’t say the movie is a success, it’s worth paying a ticket for at the multiplex for the imagery alone, and to hear Cliff Martinez‘s great score on supersized sound system. Hell, even the opening credits are glorious — and now, they’ve made their way online.

All City Media, who worked on the campaign for the movie, has posted the opulent opening credits, which are pretty damn beautiful and cheeky. In a movie about narcissism (among other things), it’s a bit amusing to see both Nicolas Winding Refn’s name and initials on the same title card. Meanwhile, ACM has also created an alternate (and pretty spoilery) poster for film, while Empire has delivered their chat with Refn and Elle Fanning about the movie, with a featurette to wrap it all together.

It’s a lot to dive into, but hopefully it’ll spur a few more people to buy tickets to “The Neon Demon,” which may not be the best movie of the year, but is definitely one of the most interesting.
