David Lynch’s 'Lost Highway' Soundtrack Returning To Vinyl With New Reissue

It’s safe to say that Nine Inch Nails Trent Reznor has successfully made a name for himself in the world of film scoring, having won an Oscar for his score in David Fincher’s “The Social Network” and written the scores for “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and “Gone Girl.” However, now Reznor is on track to accumulate some cult film cred through his work with David Lynch.

Reznor compiled and produced the soundtrack to David Lynch’s neo-noir horror “Lost Highway,” which will have its first official vinyl reissue in twenty years. Lynch encouraged Reznor to record two original songs for the score, which turned out to be “The Perfect Drug and “Driver Down.” The score also features contributions from Angelo Badalamenti, longtime Lynch collaborator and composer of “Twin Peaks,” who binds the soundtrack together.

The soundtrack to the 1997 film features contributions from David Bowie, whose song “I’m Deranged” bookends the film’s score, as well as songs from Lou Reed, Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins.

“Lost Highway” will be available as a limited yellow vinyl release via Music On Vinyl on November 4th. Check out the full tracklist below. [FACT]
