Bender's Big Score
20th Century Fox
November 27, 2007

This show should have never been cancelled in the first place, but I do like the idea of four feature length straight to DVD films. Its better than nothing, and you know the writers of this show weren't going to half ass anything.

Instead, they went in the opposite direction and wrote one of the most difficult scripts ever. The film, while highly enjoyable, is a mindfuck that travels through time and space, eventually giving it reasoning that somehow makes sense.

There are too many plots to fit in one review (especially if I want to take the lazy way out, which is how Fry and Bender would want it). A few quick ones being naked aliens scamming (and computer spamming) everyone out of everything, Hermes getting his head cut off, the secret of time travel being on Fry's ass, the Professor getting his arm chopped off, Bender killing Fry, the real reason Al Gore lost the election, and Leela finding love. Put that all together, and add about 15 more plot lines that I forgot, and you've pretty much got the movie. Its funny as hell, and like the episodes that came to an end too soon, this film is worthy of multiple viewings.

If the film isn't enough to tie you over, there are more extras on here than a war movie (meaning extras in the film). Commentary, math, deleted scenes, a comic book reading and tons of other crap piled on here like a Dagwood Bumstead sandwich. This is well worth your hard earned money for so many reasons, and there are still three films left for the smiling public.
