Finally, after years and years of anxiously waiting patiently, I finally know who shot Mr. Burns. Granted, I'm lying, but that doesn't mean that I wasn't salivating at the thought of a new The Simpsons DVD.
This season features some classic episodes, such as "Bart Sells His Soul," "Lisa the Vegetarian," "King Sized Homer," "Mother Simpson," "Team Simpson," "Two Bad Neighbors" (featuring George H.W. Bush-sort of), and well you get the point; every episode is highly worth watching numerous times. Each episode is well crafted and highly entertaining; which has become a given with this series. Even though I've seen these episodes dozens of times thanks to syndication, I still haven't become bored with them and watching them as often as possible.
As always, the Special Features are top notch. The commentaries are funny nad informative (featuring a guest commentary by Jeff Goldblum); almost as enjoyable as the episodes themselves.
My only complaint is that they only release two The Simpsons DVDs a year. They could easily release one a quarter, which would keep fans like me from going crazy with anticipation.
