South Park has become, or maybe is always has been, THE show that could do whatever the fuck it wanted to. They start writing shows on Thursday that will be aired on the following Wednesday, which lets them be right on top of current events (even if they don't realize it at the time-see Canada episode). Their cutting edge and over the top dialogue proves that this is a show that isn't afriad of any-thing-or-one, and speaking out against them will cause a brutal retaliation.
This season shows Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman going to Canada to try and get Ike back from his birth parents in a humorous take on "The Wizard of Oz," the breakup that turned Stan into a goth for a brief period of time (and introduces the Raisons girls), Butters hiding from an Earth destroying asteroid, the story of the Mormon religion (my personal favorite) and 11 more episodes that will keep you entertained for about 20 minutes or so each. The mini commentaries give a lot of information about each episode in a short period of time, but that is the only feature on this DVD set. Regardless, I highly recommend picking this gem up.
