Exclusive: Clip From Alex Gibney's Docuseries 'The Killing Season' Makes A Gruesome Golf Course Discovery

The small screen has been offering true crime fans plenty to chew on lately with “Making A Murderer,” “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” and “The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey,” with plenty more on the horizon. Now, prolific and acclaimed documentarian Alex Gibney is bringing his investigative approach to A&E with “The Killing Season,” and we have an exclusive clip that teases that chilling season ahead.

Produced by Gibney, “The Killing Season” follows documentarians Joshua Zeman (who also directed the series, and helmed “Cropsey“) and Rachel Mills as they investigate the bizarre unsolved serial killer case involving ten dead sex workers discovered on Gilgo Beach, Long Island. Authorities believe these killings are the work of the Long Island Serial Killer, who after five years remains at large. Forging relationships with cyber-sleuths, journalists and victim’s families, Zeman and Mills uncover a web of eerie connections to unsolved murders from Atlantic City to Daytona Beach and beyond – revealing that serial killers are targeting sex workers in record numbers, while using the Internet as their virtual hunting ground.

The eight-episode “The Killing Season” debuts on A&E on Saturday, November 12th at 9 PM.
