Exclusive: Preview Andy Hull & Robert McDowell's Score For 'Swiss Army Man' Featuring Paul Dano & Daniel Radcliffe

One of the most talked about movies of the Sundance Film Festival is about to become one of the most talked about movies of the summer. “Swiss Army Man” earned immediate buzz after it screened in Park City in January, with its oddball survival tale (of sorts) involving a young man stranded in the wild and a corpse. And adding to the quirky spirit of the film is the score by Manchester Orchestra members Andy Hull and Robert McDowell, and today we have an exclusive listen of their work on the movie.

Directed by DANIELS — directors Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert — “Swiss Army Man” announces them as filmmakers with an artistic voice all their own. And with the aid of Hull and McDowell, that voice gets some vibrant life. Their contribution is colorful, and even more, the film’s stars Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe lend their help across the soundtrack as well, perhaps most memorably on the song “Montage.”

“Swiss Army Man” opens in New York City and Los Angeles on Friday, June 24th and nationwide July 1st. The soundtrack arrives digitally on June 24th, followed by the CD on July 8th. Check out the preview below, along with the full cut for “Montage.”
