First Footage From David Simon's 'The Deuce' With James Franco, 'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 & More In HBO 2017 Preview

You might still be recovering from the fantastic season finale of “Westworld” last night, and I don’t mean to bring you down, but season two likely won’t be arriving until 2018. However, the silver lining is that there will be plenty on HBO in 2017 to keep you occupied.

Over the weekend, the network unveiled a tease of its 2017 slate, and some of it you’ll have already seen footage from including “The Young Pope,” “Big Little Lies,” and “Girls.” However, there’s much more to come, and one show that’s near the top of our must-see list is “The Wire” mastermind David Simon‘s “The Deuce.” Starring James Franco in dual roles, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, the drama will track the rise and legalization of pornography, from the early 1970s to the mid-1980s. And we imagine the series will be done with same investigative rigor as previous Simon shows, which means we’ll probably love it.

Meanwhile, you can also catch a first glimpse at “Game Of Thrones” season seven, and the third and final season of “The Leftovers,” plus “The Wizard of Lies,” starring Robert De Niro as the disgraced Bernie Madoff.

Check out the preview and tell us what you can’t wait to see in the comments.
