First Look: David Lynch And The Cast Of The New Season Of 'Twin Peaks'

So what do we call the upcoming episodes of “Twin Peaks“? A revival? A reboot? “It’s a feature film in 18 parts,” David Lynch told Entertainment Weekly. Fair enough.

Easily one of the biggest TV events of summer, if not the year, the return of the cult series has everyone curious about the shape it will take. But beyond the casting, which includes high profile names like Naomi Watts, James Belushi, Michael Cera, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tim Roth, in parts both major and minor, the plot is being kept entirely secret. All we know is that the script ran some 400 pages long, so there will be plenty to dive into.

“Twin Peaks” debuts on Showtime on May 21st.
