First Look: Elisabeth Moss In Hulu's 'The Handmaid's Tale'

It’s not just HBO and Netflix offering must watch Peak TV, as this year has shown their competitors stepping up with everything from “The Night Manager” (AMC) to “Atlanta” (FX) to “Rectify” (Sundance) among the best 2016 has had to offer. Hulu has also flexed their muscle with original programming — “The Path” in particular is pretty damn good — and next year they’ll be bringing “The Handmaid’s Tale,” and we’re certainly intrigued.

Elisabeth Moss stars in the TV series adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s classic novel, that’s set in a dystopian future, where women have little rights. In the face of the current political climate, it’s eerily relevant, and even if you’ve read the book, executive producer Bruce Miller says there will be much, much more beyond the pages.

“If you’ve read the book, you know that this is an unbelievably rich world and story,” he told EW. “I have no trouble coming up with what’s going to happen in season 13. I’m chomping at the bit to tell more and more and more.”
