“So far, no ‘Predator’ [movie], no matter which one they did after the first one, has been satisfactory to the audience. So I hope if Shane Black does another one, this one will be great," Arnold Schwarzenegger said last year, and it looks like he’s going to find out soon.
A couple years back, Black was hired to write and direct a new "Predator" movie, which it turned out was not going to be reboot, but a sequel, one that he hoped would allow him the opportunity of "expanding and exploring the existing Predator mythology, rather than hitting the restart button.” And it seems things are now starting to move along as the first teaser poster has dropped.
Other than a tagline — You’ll Never See Him Coming — there’s no other details in terms of release date or stars, but it’s probably safe to say there’s more news around the corner. Check out the poster below, and let us know if you think Black has what it takes to get this franchise back on track.
