To the surprise of no one, “Fifty Shades Darker” recently earned an R-rating for “strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity, and language.” Well, obviously. Universal isn’t messing with the steamy formula that saw them turn page-turning trash into big screen trash, with “Fifty Shades Of Grey” earning over $570 million worldwide. Can they titillate audiences again? They’re certainly going to try.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are back to take it off and get it on, in the sequel the unfolds the latest bedroom antics of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, with James Foley (“Glengarry Glen Ross,” “House Of Cards“) directing the hot and heavy action. Here’s the official synopsis:

When a wounded Christian Grey tries to entice a cautious Ana Steele back into his life, she demands a new arrangement before she will give him another chance. As the two begin to build trust and find stability, shadowy figures from Christian’s past start to circle the couple, determined to destroy their hopes for a future together.
