While the small screen will be flooded with no shortage of new shows in 2017, some old favorites will have to make way, and one series that will be saying goodbye is “Girls.” Lena Dunham‘s show pushed buttons and sparked many thinkpieces, but it has never lost its heart for the characters, who will all face their future in season six.

Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, Alex Karpovsky, Andrew Rannells and Ebon Moss-Bachrach all join Dunham for the last batch of episodes, and it seems the entire group has really fractured. Will the core quartet find a way to connect those severed bonds, or is this is the price tag of growing up?
