I’ll soon be sitting down and watching “Twin Peaks” for the first time (I know, I know) as I finally experience what everyone has been talking about for years, so I’m not left behind in the conversation when the series returns this summer. As for Showtime, they are starting to ramp up to the debut of David Lynch‘s return behind the camera.
“It Is Happening Again,” states two new posters which feature Laura Palmer and Special Agent Dale Cooper (I’m not entirely obtuse when it comes to the show). Meanwhile, the network will get their promo machine going in Austin with an “immersive experience” featuring the Double R Diner pop-up shop, which will have all kinds of “Twin Peaks”-inspired food, and two days worth of concerts featuring Real Estate, Julie Byrne, Neko Case, M. Ward, and many, many more.
“Twin Peaks” is back on May 21st.
