Between The 30 Most Anticipated New TV Shows Of 2017 and The 20 Best TV Shows Returning In 2017, that’s probably enough to keep your television humming well into 2018. But in case you have space to carve out for one more show, Netflix is getting ready to drop “Frontier.”
Jason Momoa leads the series that counts Brad Peyton (“San Andreas,” “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island“) among the directors, and tells the story of Declan Harp, a part-Irish, part-native American outlaw campaigning to breach the fur trade. To be honest, I didn’t really know this show existed until the new trailer arrived, and watching it, perhaps there’s a reason the streaming service has kept a low boil on the buzz.
“Frontier” lands on January 20th.
