Karlovy Vary Film Festival Exclusive: Clip From 'We're Still Together' Breaks Up A Fight

Arriving just a couple of months before the madness of the fall festival season begins, the Karlovy Vary Film Festival has gained a reputation for hosting acclaimed films that may not have gotten the attention they deserve earlier on the festival circuit, while debuting movies from the kind of talent that may put a Palme d’Or on their shelf one day. And this year, Canada’s lone entry at Karlovy Vary, “We’re Still Together,” comes from filmmaker Jesse Klein, and today we have an exclusive peek.

Starring Jesse Camacho, Joey Klein, Brielle Robillard, and Eve Harlow, the story follows Bobby, a manic single father, who helps Chris when he is is attacked in the street, with the pair then setting out for a night in Montreal. They’ll hit parties, meet girls, and even visit Bobby’s estranged daughter, but it soon becomes clear a Bobby’s self-destructive streak is a potent undercurrent to his charm. And in this clip, you’ll see the incident that first finds Bobby and Chris crossing paths.

“We’re Still Together” will make its World Premiere at Karlovy Vary which runs from July 1-9.
