“Saturday Night Live” alumnus Taran Killam has certainly kept his CV interesting. The funnyman took a very serious role in Steve McQueen‘s “12 Years A Slave,” but making people laugh is his bread and butter, and he aims to do just that with his directorial debut, “Killing Gunther.” Even more, he’s managed to pull together a pretty strong ensemble for this one.

Arnold Schwarzenegger takes the lead role and is clearly having a blast playing the world’s greatest assassin, who becomes a target by everyone else in the gun-for-hire business. Cobie Smulders, Allison Tolman, Hannah Simone, Bobby Moynihan, Aaron Yoo, Joel Labelle, Ryan Gaul, Peter Kelamis, Alex Duncan, Amir Talai, Elizabeth Bowen, Paul Brittain, Amitai Marmorstein, and Killam himself are along for the ride. A group of eccentric assassins are fed up with Gunther, the world’s greatest hit-man and decide to kill him but their plan turns into a series of bungled encounters as Gunther seems to always be one step ahead.
“Killing Gunther” hits Ultra VOD on September 22nd and will be released in select theaters and on demand on October 20th.
