Late-Night Laughs: Spike Jonze Directs Short For Stephen Colbert, Plus 'Creed' Sequel 'Clubber,' And 'Reasonable Max'

ClubberIt seems this week, late-night shows really stretched their budgets with some expensive sketches. We already saw "Jimmy Kimmel Live" present a "deleted scene" from "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice," and they had even more from Oscar night.

Tracy Morgan, J.K. Simmons, Mike Tyson, Al Michaels, Sugar Ray Leonard and Kimmel himself presented "Clubber," a parody sequel to "Creed" which, you guessed it, focuses on the progeny of Mr. T‘s Clubber Lang. Meanwhile, Seth Meyers was far less successful with his spoof, "Reasonable Max," in which the host plays a very sensible War Boy who wishes there wasn’t so much waste. Lastly, Stephen Colbert tapped Spike Jonze to helm a somber opening for his late-night show that finds the host sadly wandering around New York City….with Grover.
