Even before we’ve seen a single frame of the show, “Twin Peaks” has a huge bar of expectation to clear. Not only does the series revival mark David Lynch‘s first significant directorial effort since 2006’s “Inland Empire,” even just the extensive cast list promises something that’s either going to be amazing or ridiculous or deeply disappointing. Regardless, the vibe at the moment for fans is one of pure excitement, and Showtime has dropped a new teaser that will surely stoke no shortage of fresh chatter.
