Liam Neeson Steps Into The Korean War In New Trailer For 'Operation Chromite'

During the Korean War, an elite group of South Korean Navy Special Forces went undercover to successfully infiltrate the North Korean command center. This true story hasn’t yet received the big screen attention it deserves, until now. “Operation Chromite” is coming, and it promises that audiences will finally see the story of those brave Korean soldiers. And since this trailer is aimed at a North American audience, there’s a healthy dose of Liam Neeson as General Douglas MacArthur.

The film is poised to become a massive success in South Korea, but the studio has high hopes that it can capture the North American moviegoers as well. Featuring the electrifying action people expect from Korean genre cinema along with Liam Neeson being the badass that everyone expects in his post-“Taken” career, the promo is both exciting and intriguing.

Can Liam Neeson’s wartime growl bring in audiences for this foreign flick? We’ll find out on August 12th. [ComingSoon]
