First Trailer For ‘Person To Person’ Starring Michael Cera

This is the time of year when those films that made the festival circuit earlier are now being released for the general public to view. One such film is “Person to Person,” which made its debut at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was immediately picked up by Magnolia Pictures for distribution. Now, the film is set to be released later this summer, and we have our first trailer ready for public eyes.

“Person to Person” doesn’t just tell one story, it tells several. All of these stories follow characters in New York City as they grapple with the mundane, the unexpected, and the larger questions in their lives. Characters like an investigative reporter and her unique boss, a rebellious teen, and an avid music lover, all populate this indie dramedy.

Michael Cera, Abbi Jacobson, Tavi Gevinson, Isiah Whitlock, Michaela Watkins, Olivia Lucciardi, Ben Rosenfield, Buddy Durress, Bene Coopersmith, George Sample III and Philip Baker Hall star in the film. “Person to Person” was written and directed by relative newcomer Dustin Guy Defa. While our Sundance review of the film wasn’t completely positive, Noel was impressed by quite a few members of the cast.

For those interested in the film, “Person to Person” will be released July 28th in select theaters and on iTunes, OnDemand, and Amazon Video.
