Michael Cera's Bonkers Cameo On 'Twin Peaks' Revealed

The ratings have come in for “Twin Peaks,” and despite lots of chatter, the series did lukewarm on Sunday, coming behind both HBO’s “The Leftovers” and Starz’s “American Gods” on Sunday night. However, in the digital realm, Showtime couldn’t be more pleased by the result. The network offered up four episodes to subscribers of Showtime Anytime, sparking a huge rise in users, and they were lucky enough to catch one of the returning series’ most bonkers cameos yet.

Michael Cera rolls into “Twin Peaks,” playing the super cool Wally Brando, the son of Andy and Lucy, and looking like he just rolled in off the set of Marlon Brando‘s “The Wild One.” There isn’t much else to say, except that you just need to watch the clip below, via Vulture, to really get a sense of just how (amazingly) nuts it all is. Whether this plays into the larger narrative, or is just one of David Lynch’s many amusing sidebars, we’ll have to wait and see.
