When the BBC released “Planet Earth” in 2006, it was widely hailed as a magnificent, must-watch achievement. Giving viewers a chance to see the Earth like never before, the original “Planet Earth” quickly became an international hit. Now, ten years later, the sequel has arrived, and to the surprise of no one, the newly released trailer for “Planet Earth II” is chock full of jaw dropping visuals that are sure to impress.

From stunning images of animals clashing to an adorable sloth swimming, “Planet Earth II” promises audiences that this will once again raise the bar for nature documentaries. The audience isn’t just watching animals walk around and live their lives, instead it feels as if you’re walking alongside the animals, and being given an intimate view of corners of the world you may never step foot it. And fear not, Sir David Attenborough is returning to once again narrate with Hans Zimmer providing the score.

The documentary will be shown over six parts. No release date has been confirmed, but BBC has said “Planet Earth II” is “coming soon.” [Complex]
