ALBUM OF THE WEEK:

I'm teaching kids about a different African American Musician each day for Black History Month, and Friday was Chuck Berry's turn. I didn't have any of his albums before Friday, so I picked this one up, featuring rare recordings of some of his hits (and other tracks). I knew of a few of his hits, but there were a ton on here that I didn't know that he wrote. Even the songs I've never heard before blew me away. John Lennon was right when he said "If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it 'Chuck Berry."
