ALBUM OF THE WEEK:

This major label debut from Mastodon is quite an amazing piece of music. Each individual player is at the top of their game, musically, and they give quite a jaw dropping performance. This album has had modest sales, and I have a little bit of trouble seeing these guys break through into the mainstream, but this is still an enjoyable piece of work for metal fans everywhere.
