ALBUM OF THE WEEK:

2005 was full of great hardcore bands releasing great hardcore albums. Leading the pack was Philly's Paint it Black. They extending their song lengths (though they are still shorter-and better-than the majority of current hardcore songs), and added some subtle melody, all masked behind Dan Yemin's pissed off vocals. There is not a dull moment on this album, and its one that I am still listening to regularly over a year after its release.
