Ridley Scott 'Robin Hood' On Set Rewrites, Bruce Willis Swimming In Action Flick Offers, New 'Ninja Assassin' Poster

Ridley Scott’s Untitled Robin Hood Film is allegedly undergoing on-set rewrites with “Shakespeare In Love” scribe Tom Stoppard retouching the script by Brian Helgeland. [ShowBiz411]

Bruce Willis reportedly has been offered lead roles in three upcoming action pictures. “Inventory” will find Willis as a detective on the trail of a murder; “Red” will see the glabrous, tough-guy star as a retired black-ops agent who is forced to come out for ‘one last job’ when a high-tech assassin comes a-callin’ to threaten him and his girlfriend; and in “Scarpa” Willis will star as Greg Scarpa, an FBI informant who worked deeply undercover in New York’s Colombo family – reports though, say “Scarpa” is looking unlikely for Willis. J.J. Abrams has revealed that his and Damon Lindelof’s adaptation of Stephen Kings’s magnum opus “The Dark Tower” will not begin until their television series “Lost” ends in 2011. [IGN]

Todd McFarlane has revealed that several studios have put offers on the table to reboot the “Spawn” franchise. He is hoping to be able to strike a deal that will allow him to write and direct the project himself. Further, McFarlane has confirmed previous stories of Matt Damon and Rachel McAdams being attached to David Fincher’s “Torso.” The project, which was passed by Paramount, has also had multiple offers though it is not known if the talent or anyone is still heavily involved at the moment.
