Sebastian Stan, Shailene Woodley & Jamie Dornan To Star In New Film From Drake Doremus

Filmmaker Drake Doremus has been a director to keep your eye on now for almost a decade. Hitting it big in 2011, when his film “Like Crazy” won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, Doremus has consistently released interesting films over the last 7 years. And it looks like for his next film, he’ll continue that trend, with some serious star power to back him up.

Collider is reporting that Doremus is beginning production on his next film this week, with the working title “No, No, No, Yes.” The film is set to star Sebastian Stan, Jamie Dornan, Shailene Woodley, and Matthew Gray Gubler. The story follows an artist (Woodley) that suddenly dumps her longtime boyfriend but finds herself immediately in two passionate romances, with a writer (Dornan) and a bad boy (Stan), respectively. Doremus is obviously directing the film, in which he co-wrote with Jardine Libaire.

The director has been very busy lately, with his latest sci-fi film “Zoe” premiering earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival. In addition to “Zoe,” Doremus has signed on to directAurora,” with “The Age of Adaline” writer Salvador Paskowitz on board to pen the script alongside the director.

Sebastian Stan is obviously a member of the superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and was recently seen in the record-breaking “Avengers: Infinity War.” However, he’s also proven himself to be quite the actor in films like “I, Tonya” and the upcoming “Destroyer,” co-starring Nicole Kidman.

Dornan is coming off his work in the ‘Fifty Shades’ franchise, as well as the upcoming “My Dinner with Hervé,” which debuts on HBO on October 20. Woodley is perhaps best known for her work in the “Divergent” franchise. However, she’s also scored amazing roles in “Big Little Lies” and “The Descendants,” both of which scored her Golden Globe nominations.

No word on a release date, but considering filming is set to begin this week, we can expect to see the new Drake Doremus film sometime in 2019.
