'Seven Psychopaths' Soundtrack Features Hank Williams, The Walkmen, Deer Tick & More

nullFeaturing a meta-narrative, big laughs, a bit of blood and lot of sharp edged one liners, "Seven Psychopaths" lands in theaters this weekend, bringing with it a huge cast to play along in the surreal world crafted by Martin McDonagh. Also reaching for your attention will be a soundtrack that takes a couple of hipster favorites, some classic tunes, and a score from a talented composer and shakes 'em up into a smooth cocktail.

Kicking off rather appropriately with Hank Williams' "Angel Of Death," the CD moves into the classic cut "First Cut Is The Deepest" before detouring in a few interesting directions. There's Carter Burwell's score, a couple of tunes from indie rockers The Walkmen, another from Deer Tick before things head back into FM dial territory with The Stone Poneys. It's a pretty eclectic mix, but it also works pretty well. And if you like what you hear, it's yours to own…but you'll have to wait.

While the movie is in theaters today, you won't be able to digitally snag the tunes until October 23rd and if you want a physical disc? November 20th. Full tracklist below. [Film Music Reporter]
