The Forecast
The Living Room in Providence, RI
July 26, 2007

Because I saw The Simpsons Movie, and had to buy a new voice recorder (I forgot mine at home), we got to the show just after The Higher finished their set. I was at an ATM machine as they were playing their last song, which didn't sound that great from the outside.

Finally in the club, it was only a short wait before The Forecast took the stage, which was the only band I was interested in seeing that night. As usual, they were pretty excellent, playing through songs from all eras of the band, including their pre Victory days, which I enjoyed, even though I haven't heard before.

Not all shows are super exciting wtih a ton of things to talk about, and this was one of them. Granted, I loved The Forecast's set, as did the 20-30 dedicated fans singing along to every word at the front of the stage, but not all that much happened to write about. They played their set, left the stage, and thats pretty much it. An enjoyable show and a good time?: yes; a great story to tell?: not all that much.
