Start Rethinking Those Fan Theories Because The 'Stranger Things' Season 2 Chapter Titles Are Changing

When Netflix announced the second season of “Stranger Things last summer, it came with a teaser that revealed the chapter titles for the next batch of episodes. And as you might expect, enthusiasts started working their theories about what the next installment of the hit series might hold. However, it might be time for them to rethink those theories. First, here are the chapter titles that were initially announced:

“Madmax”
“The Boy Who Came Back to Life”
“The Pumpkin Patch”
“The Palace”
“The Storm”
“The Pollywog”
“The Secret Cabin”
“The Brain”
“The Lost Brother”

Chatting with EW, series co-creator/writer/director Matt Duffer reveals that these titles are changing, and perhaps suggests some were decoys, as the team behind the show are hoping to stay a step ahead of their fans.

“Some of them are changing,” he said. “Some of them we didn’t put because these people are smart on the f—ing internet. You’ve seen it with ‘Westworld‘ — they figured it out! I’ve seen videos analyzing the chapter titles and they’re right on a lot.”
